The Kings have waived veteran guard Terence Davis, per Sean Cunningham of KCRA News. The move finalizes Sacramento’s 15-man roster ahead of opening night.
Davis’ chances of sticking took a major hit after the team signed Russell Westbrook to a non-guaranteed deal last week.
Davis, who was also waived by the Kings in September, appeared in just one preseason game during his latest stint.
A 6-foot-4 guard, Davis has played 122 games for the Kings since being acquired from Toronto in 2021, averaging 6.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 13.1 minutes during the 2022-23 season. He spent most of last year in the G League, recovering from a torn Achilles, and later joined Sacramento’s affiliate in Stockton.
If he clears waivers, that’s likely where he’ll start the season.
Washington has waived guards Kadary Richmond and Alondes Williams, the team announced. Both players had signed non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deals earlier in the week.
Richmond, a 6-foot-5 guard who played last season at St. John’s, earned second-team All-Big East honors after averaging 12.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.
Williams, meanwhile, has nine NBA games under his belt from brief stints with Brooklyn, Miami, and Detroit.
Both are expected to join the Capital City Go-Go, Washington’s G League affiliate. By spending at least 60 days there, each could earn a bonus worth up to $85,300 under Exhibit 10 terms.
Memphis has signed guard DeJon Jarreau and waived center Lawson Lovering, according to a team press release.
Jarreau, a 27-year-old Houston alum, has appeared in 10 NBA games across two seasons with the Pacers and Grizzlies, averaging 4.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. He’s also been a steady performer in the G League, where he’s averaged 13.0 points and 5.3 assists.
Lovering, who went undrafted out of Utah, joined Memphis in September on an Exhibit 10 deal and averaged 2.0 points in four preseason games.
Both players are likely headed to the Memphis Hustle, where they can earn Exhibit 10 bonuses if they remain with the team for 60 days.
