NBA Moves: Spurs, Kendall Brown, Kings, Mavericks
USA TODAY Sports via Reuters Connect

The Spurs have signed former Pacers wing Kendall Brown to a training camp contract, according to Paul Garcia of Spot Up Shot.

Brown, 23, spent last season with the Maine Celtics, averaging 15.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 43 G League appearances. He shot 53 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from beyond the arc.

A former second-round pick, Brown spent his first two professional seasons with Indiana. His latest opportunity appears likely to lead to the Austin Spurs, with an Exhibit 10 bonus potentially available if he’s waived and spends at least 60 days with the affiliate.

More roster moves:

  • Kings: Sacramento signed David Muoka to a training camp deal, per Garcia. The 6-foot-10 center from Hong Kong averaged 5.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 45 games for the Long Island Nets last season. Muoka, 25, appears headed toward a G League opportunity with Stockton.
  • Mavericks: Dallas waived Jorge Diaz Graham after a brief stay that included five points and three rebounds in 12 minutes against New Orleans on Wednesday. He signed Tuesday and has an established connection with the Texas Legends, who selected him first overall in this year’s G League international draft. Diaz Graham also played for Dallas at Summer League, averaging 7.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in five games.
