The NBA is actively looking for ways to get all of its 30 teams back into their training facilities. While that's difficult amid the coronavirus pandemic, some teams will be permitted to return to facilities before others due to certain state restrictions.
This would be a huge advantage to the teams who are able to get back on the court, so the NBA now is looking at ways to make things fair for its teams and getting players back into training facilities is reportedly a "priority," according to Yahoo Sports' Keith Smith.
One of the things I was told this morning was: "First, we figure out how to get everyone back in the gym. All of them. Then we can really get to work on what finishing the season could look like. We're working on both, but gyms re-opening is the first priority at the moment." https://t.co/1pHvjaGrG7

Teams like the Atlanta Hawks would be able to resume practices because Georgia is no longer on lockdown, while a team like the Boston Celtics would be unable to hit the court as Massachusetts is one of the most infected areas in the country.
There's no date scheduled for a resume to the basketball season, but before that happens players will need to train for probably a month before they take the court again.
While it doesn't seem realistic for teams to return to action anytime soon, things could change immensely over the next month or so.
