NBA props for Monday 4/1: Mikal Bridges leads to a Net gain

Happy April! The NBA season ends on April 14 so we have just a couple of more regular-season weeks to hammer the sportsbooks and build that bankroll before the real moneymaking happens in the playoffs. There are no games next Monday either, in deference to the NCAA National Championship game, which is probably a good thing because Mondays have never been my thing this season.

Tonight we have a ho-hum schedule, just six games and only one really worth tuning into — the Phoenix Suns at the New Orleans Pelicans.

NBA Props for Monday April 1

Mikal Bridges Over 4.5 Rebounds (+114)
Nets vs. Pacers, 7 p.m. ET

This line it set right at seasonal averages for Bridges, so getting that payoff is better than expected. Bridges had one of his worst games of the season against Indiana last month, only making one shot from the field in 29+ minutes. However, he did manage to snag seven rebounds in the contest. An improved performance will certainly include enough boards, right?

Franz Wagner Over 4.5 Rebounds (+105)
Trail Blazers vs. Magic, 7 p.m. ET

I found another case of getting a good payout for average production. Wagner is averaging 5.3 rpg and the only thing that gives me pause here is the prospect that Orlando blows out Portland and that eats into his playing time. These teams met back in October and it was a competitive game, in which Wagner grabbed five boards.

GG Jackson II Over 5.5 Rebounds (+124)
Grizzlies vs. Pistons, 7 p.m. ET

It has taken a little while for the lanky rookie to get some traction in Memphis. Injuries have paved the way to more regular playing time, including starting assignments and when that happens he is averaging over five rebounds per game. The Grizzlies are at Detroit tonight which is a winnable game and one in which he should have plenty of opportunity.

Andrew Nembhard Over 3.5 Assists (+120)
Nets vs. Pacers, 7 p.m. ET

Nembhard's seasonal averages got a bump when teammate Ty Haliburton missed some time. However, he is still more of a playmaker than a true shooting guard. In the last 10 games, he has never had less than two assists with four games of at least four that would have cashed. The playing time is there with no less than 26 minutes in any of those games.
