NBA props for Thursday, Feb. 29: Hurry to back Curry

You're welcome! I know it hasn't always been perfect but yesterday was, a 4-0 record across all NBA props picks thanks to the grouping of Brandon Ingram, Malik Monk, Ayo Dosunmu, Kyrie Irving and Immanuel Quickley. That group has probably not been in the same sentence all season long. I love you guys!

Tonight we are looking to keep rolling pulling from a slate of eight NBA games. It is not a great group of action though. I am curious about the Warriors at MSG but beyond that it might be MLB reading.

NBA Props for Thursday, Feb. 29

Precious Achiuwa Over 0.5 Three Pointers (+114)

The Knicks are hosting the Warriors tonight and I am leaning into all of the juicy playing time that Achiuwa is getting with absences in the frontcourt. He has played at least 33 minutes in every game this month. His three-point shooting percentage is just 21% with the Knicks but he is taking them, and per usual the opponent is going to sag off him to try and guard other players. At this payoff, it is worth a look.

Steph Curry More Points than Jalen Brunson (+145)

Jalen Brunson is on the injury report, but he also scored 35 points in the Knicks' last game and they need him big-time tonight. I like backing Curry, who has the same scoring average as Brunson on the season. The Warriors might not need him as much as the Knicks do their star, but the Warriors have Gary Payton III to try and lock him up — New York does not have someone similar. Curry will get Brunson a lot of the night and that is a good thing.

Jonathan Kuminga More Points than Donte DiVincenzo (+120)

I like the combination of this bet and the one above. Golden State is a road favorite tonight in New York. Assuming things stay true to that, it is hard to see a scenario where they win the game and both of these bets fail to hit. Now if you are backing the Knicks then you might want to avoid both. Oh, by the way. Kuminga's scoring average is higher for the season too. I like his matchups against the Knicks.

Dejounte Murray Over 8.5 Assists (+114)

I thought there would be a premium for this but right now there isn't at DK. Be sure to shop around. With Trae Young out, Murray takes on more playmaking responsibilities. He has 11 assists in back-to-back games. Even with Young in the lineup, he was cracking this number on occasion. At this payoff, you almost have to make this play and it is going to be worth checking on a nightly basis until Young is back.
