NBA Props for Thursday, March 14: Finding value on a six-game slate

We posted a profitable Wednesday with a 2-1 record. We lost a bet as our head-to-head between Donovan Mitchell and Brandon Ingram on assists was a draw. Dallas forward Derrick Jones. Jr. easily covered his rebounds prop and was our top payoff.

There are just six games on the NBA schedule tonight but more than enough to keep us interested. Phoenix is at Boston early and Dallas is at Oklahoma City late. With Philly really hurting, their visit to Milwaukee is not as meaningful. Sadly.

NBA Props for Thursday, March 14

Jae Crowder Over 3.5 Rebounds (+130)
Sixers vs. Bucks, 8 p.m. ET

The price jumps out here. Crowder is averaging 3.5 rebounds on the season and is firmly in the rotation with Milwaukee with Khris Middleton out. The last time the Bucks played Philly he did not even score a point but posted eight rebounds. He finds ways to be productive, even when he is not on the scoreboard. When he starts his rebound goes up a tick too.

Devin Booker Over 4.5 Rebounds (+120)
Suns vs. Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT

Booker was back in the lineup for the Suns last game and showed no rust, posting 27 points with six rebounds and seven assists. The Suns won at Cleveland too and the task will be even greater at Boston tonight. They are going to need their stars to pull their weight and contribute in all areas. Another situation where this is a great payoff for average production.

Al Horford Over 7.5 Rebounds (+110)

Horford is in a different role with Boston this season now that Kristaps Porzingis is manning the middle. However, Porzingis is out so Horford is being asked to do more. These teams just met in Phoenix last week and Horford grabbed 12 rebounds while playing 32 minutes. He has some minor injuries so he might not get those minutes but he is reliable and will battle in the middle.

Lu Dort Over 2.5 Three Pointers (+130)
Mavericks vs. Thunder, 10 p.m. ET, TNT

Dort is a bigger part of what is going on in OKC than most people realize. He is a plus defender who can guard multiple positions and his shooting from the perimeter is better than it ever has been this season. SGA commands a ton of attention and his 41% from deep makes teams pay. He has bested this total in the last two games and six of the last 10.
