NBA props for Wednesday, Jan. 31: No Bull, we like Ayo tonight

Happy Wednesday! Sorry for missing you yesterday but the way things have been going you did not miss much. You have to laugh at yourself right. I mean who could have predicted that Fred VanVleet would have the best plus/minus in a Rockets win and not even score double digits.

As for tonight, we have 10 games to choose from, including Kevin Durant's return to Brooklyn. That should be fun.

NBA Props for Wednesday, Jan. 31

Ayo Dosunmu 15+ Points (+110) Alt Line

The Bulls are very shorthanded these days. I am looking past the fact that they played last night because visiting Charlotte is hardly the most demanding schedule. Also, he is taking advantage of the opportunity to get some more run — three times in the last five games he has scored at least 18 points. Against a light defense, he will be a contributor.

Terry Rozier 18+ Points (+110) Alt Line

We hit it with Rozier scoring more than he ever had with his new team on Monday and it cashed. It was not a game for the ages but we got the 20+ points they were looking for, finally. The Kings are in town and they usually crank up the pace, even though Miami is good at fighting that temptation. Either way, I think we get a speedier game and Rozier vs. De'Aaron Fox is a good matchup.

Domantas Sabonis More Points than Bam Adebyao (+120)

You know I love Sabonis. On the flip side, Adebayo has struggled as the Heat have lost seven games in a row. Over his last 10 game, he has only managed 16 ppg. During the same timeframe, Sabonis has been averaging 20 ppg and I love his aggressive game, even against good defenders like Adebayo. These two have squared off 12 times and in seven of them, Sabonis has had more points.

Victor Wembanyama Over 1.5 Steals (+170)

Orlando is solid but this is the first time they are going to see Wembanyama in person. The rookie, whose length is hard to simulate, will be able to get his hand on some balls this evening. Even under the best of circumstances, Orlando is not the tightest with the ball; they are in the lower third in turnovers for the season. The rookie has gotten a couple of steals in two of the last three games.
