NBA Reveals Historic LeBron James News on Saturday

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have finally started to get back to their winning ways, coming out on top of their previous two games.

On Saturday, the Lakers looked to extend their winning streak to three with a second-consecutive battle on the road against the Sacramento Kings.

Prior to the game, LeBron had tied former Milwaukee Bucks and Lakers star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most 10-point games in NBA history, with both sitting at 1,509.

With just under one minute left in the first quarter on Saturday against the Kings, the four-time NBA MVP hit a driving layup to reach his tenth point of the contest.

In doing so, "King James" passed Abdul-Jabbar for sole possession of first place on the career 10-point games list.

The NBA made a congratulatory post on X following LeBron's latest achievement.

"Congrats to @KingJames of the @Lakers for becoming the NBA's all-time leader in 10+ POINT GAMES!"

Many NBA fans were left impressed with LeBron's latest feat, leaving their thoughts on social media as well.

"His career has been almost as long as the other 8 combined. What an accomplishment!" one fan commented.

"he's the king, no one can compete," chimed in another.

"Lebron James breaking another record!" wrote a third.

Other fans felt the need to drag different NBA greats in.

"LeBron taking all of Kareem’s records," said one user.

"Where is Michael Jordan on this list," questioned another.

This is not the first record LeBron has stolen from Abdul-Jabbar this week. In his last game against Sacramento, the former Cleveland Cavaliers star passed Abdul-Jabbar for the most minutes played in NBA history.

After starting the 2024-25 NBA season 10-4, LeBron and the Lakers have lost eight of their last 13 contests. But this latest win streak is a good sign for a championship-hopeful Los Angeles team under first-year head coach JJ Redick.
