NBA Rumors: Jonathan Kuminga, Bulls, 76ers, Kings, Terence Davis

It doesn’t look like the Bulls will be riding into the Jonathan Kuminga sweepstakes anytime soon. After locking up Josh Giddey on a new deal, Chicago is unlikely to pursue a sign-and-trade for the Warriors restricted free agent, per Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.

That doesn’t mean the Bulls are out of the picture entirely. With significant cap space looming in 2026, Fischer noted they could revisit the Kuminga idea down the road.

For now, the forward is said to be “strongly considering” accepting Golden State’s $8 million qualifying offer, which would give him an implicit no-trade clause and put him on track for unrestricted free agency in ’26.

The Warriors’ reported standing offer of two years, $45 million with a team option on Year 2 hasn’t moved the needle.

Still, there’s optimism a resolution could come soon. ESPN’s Anthony Slater reported “renewed efforts” this week, and Fischer added that talks could pick up within days.

Sixers weighing options: Philadelphia continues to take calls on Andre Drummond and Kelly Oubre Jr., though Fischer says there’s no clear directive to move either player.

A deal that trims salary could create more flexibility as the Sixers try to keep restricted free agent Quentin Grimes.

Kings’ roster: Sacramento’s decision to waive Terence Davis likely signals his non-guaranteed deal won’t be needed for salary-matching purposes in trades.

“The only reason for Sacramento to have kept Davis this long was to have potentially used him in a trade,” one league source told The Stein Line.
