NBA Rumors: Trades, Doumbouya, Pacers, Avdija, Cavaliers, Giannis

The Nets made a pair of trades on Tuesday night.

Sekou Doumbouya (and his $3,613,680 salary) was sent to Houston along with an unprotected 2024 second-round pick in exchange for cash considerations ($110K), as Tim MacMahon of ESPN tweets. Houston subsequently waived the former first-round pick.

In the second move, the Pacers sent Edmond Sumner and a 2025 second-round pick to the Nets (and the Brooklyn subsequently waived the guard). Brooklyn received draft rights to Juan Pablo Vaulet from Brooklyn (via Michael Scotto of HoopsHype).

The 2 trades will save Brooklyn $6.8M toward the luxury tax and $1.29M in salary.
