With the NBA playoffs set to begin this Saturday, at least one team has extended an invitation to U.S. gymnast Suni Lee.
Back in December, the six-time Olympic medalist was at Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic square off. After that game went final, she took a picture with OG Anunoby.
"Oh my gosh, it was so cool," Lee said. "I had so much fun, this is my first time at the Knicks game and definitely want to remember, I'm currently getting my jersey signed in the back."
Lee returned to MSG on April 6 to watch the Knicks-Suns game. She was treated to a masterclass from Anunoby, who had 32 points on just 17 shots.
While we're not sure if Lee is interested in the NBA playoffs, at least one player on the Knicks wants her at MSG for their first-round series against the Detroit Pistons.
On the latest episode of the "Roommates Show," forward Josh Hart said the Olympic gymnast needs to attend every playoff game for the Knicks.
"We need Suni or Anne Hathaway at every game during this playoff run," Hart joked.
Speaking of Anne Hathaway, she also had a brief run-in with Anunoby at a game this season. The veteran forward was about to dive for a loose ball when he stopped himself from crashing into the "Devil Wears Prada" actress.
Game 1 of the Knicks-Pistons series is set for 6 p.m. ET. We'll see if either Hathaway or Lee shows up to MSG.
