Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has nothing left to prove in his NBA career. A four-time champion, 11-time All-Star, two-time league MVP, NBA Finals MVP and the league's all-time leader in 3-pointers, Curry has done it all.
That said, the former Davidson guard enters his 17th season in the NBA motivated to add to his legacy. Several times over the last few seasons, Curry has admitted he is only playing for a championship at this point in his career. While that remains his focus on the court, Curry also is incredibly active off the court and in the community.
On Friday, Curry made a personal announcement about one of his most passionate off-court involvements. The two-time scoring champion hosts the "Curry Camp" in the summer, and it is set to return on Aug. 13 per the Warriors star's post on X.
"Curry Camp returns on August 13th, and I can’t wait to see the talent that walks through the doors this year," he wrote. "This camp always takes me back to my early hoop days… stay tuned."
It was first announced by Under Armour back in July that Curry Camp would be expanding to Asia this summer. At the time of that announcement, Curry's NBA colleague and fellow Under Armour athlete De'Aaron Fox was expected to join him. That plan has since changed, as Fox is no longer able to travel.
However, what will remain in place is this upcoming camp in San Francisco. Per the Under Armour website, and now Curry's post, it has been made clear that the Aug. 13-15 Curry Camp will indeed take place in The Bay. Curry will then travel to Asia later in the month.
In his post that Curry Camp will be returning next week, the Warriors star shared photos from previous years that include appearances from Cooper Flagg, Paige Bueckers, Jared McCain and several others. In fact, Curry added a list of some of the most prominent names that have come through his camp. Here are some of them:
Via Under Armour website for Curry Camp includes a statement that reads the following:
"The four-time NBA champion, Stephen Curry, invited 26 boys and girls from across the country to receive a face to face training session not only from Curry but his entourage of coaches and trainers. Curry Camp provides mentoring for youth athletes to empower them on their journey and what it means to be a part of a team and how believing in yourself can elevate your game."
Here are some more NBA/WNBA camp alumni Curry named in his post:
