It's been quite the interesting past few months for NBA center Victor Wembanyama.
After being sidelined for the season due to deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in his right shoulder) back in February, the Spurs superstar has seemingly decided to do some traveling — popping up at a Shaolin temple in China.
The French-born lottery pick even made sure to look the part too — much to the surprise of fans — shaving his head and draping himself in monk's robes as he took part in the faith's practice.

Needless to say Wemby's new cut went viral.
"He might win MVP next year," a fan said.
"Wemby about to average 40 " Jemele Hill laughed.
"Yeah he finna be the goat," a user replied.
"We haven't had a superstar locked into his development and offseason training since LeBron," another person commented.
"He's going to be the greatest ever," another fan predicted.
"A reminder, your 20 year old franchise player is on a boat doing coke with IG models, spurs are winning a championship within 3 years."
"This [dude] on a real life Kareem journey, we finna witness greatness before our eyes," another user posted.
"Wemby gonna block way more shots next season using his newly acquired airbender skillset "
Wembanyama was averaging 24.3 points. 11.0 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game in the middle of San Antonio's frontcourt before his sophomore season came to a premature end at 46 games.
Hopefully an even more enlightened Wemby will serve he and the Spurs well as he heads into Year 3.
