The NBA has yet to announce a resumption to the 2019-20 season, but all signs are pointing toward a return at Walt Disney World in Florida.
While there's no word on whether or not the campaign would resume with the regular season or playoffs, Yahoo's Keith Smith reports we may see the NBA take an unconventional approach to finish out the year.
Told today that if the NBA does resume with all 30 teams at a single-site, game days are likely to look like Summer League. Games would be almost all day long (starting around 12:00 noon ET) until the regular season is complete. Playoffs would follow a more regular schedule.

NBA games all day? That sounds like a basketball fan's dream. It's also probably more of a possibility than people realize. Many teams would like to finish the regular season in order to improve their positions in the standings or to at least have the chance to squeeze into the playoffs.
No matter what the league decides, NBA commissioner Adam Silver, along with the players, would like each round of the playoffs to consist of seven-game series in order to "legitimize" the champion as much as possible, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
If and when the NBA and other leagues in the United States announce a return, all players will need to participate in about a month's worth of training camp to get back in shape, so don't expect any games to take place until at least July.
