NBA Trade Rumors: 3 Spurs Expected to Be Available
USA TODAY Sports

After losing 14 straight games, it's safe to assume the San Antonio Spurs are likely not going to make the playoffs this season.

With playoffs outside of the expectations for the Spurs, it's likely that they will be sellers at the trade deadline in February. HoopsHype identified three players who could be on the trade block for the Spurs at the deadline.

"With the San Antonio Spurs in rebuild mode around Victor Wembanyama, veteran bench players Doug McDermott, Cedi Osman, and Devonte Graham are all expected to be available ahead of the trade deadline," HoopsHype said.

McDermott, 31, is averaging just 6.4 points per game, but he may be one of the best 3-point specialists available at the deadline. He is shooting 47.5 percent from distance so far this season, and that's something that many teams will be looking for when the trade deadline gets closer.

Osman, 28, is averaging 8.2 points per game. He's also been a strong 3-point shooter, making 39.7 percent of his looks. He also has postseason experience from his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers that many contenders will find valuable.

Graham, 28, has played in only three games for the Spurs this season. He may have the least value out of this trio, but as a point guard that won't command a high price, he could pique the interest of a few teams looking for depth at that position.

The NBA Trade Deadline is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, just one week before the All-Star Break.
