NBA world reacts to Stephen Curry winning three-point contest

It was back in 2015 that Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry announced his presence on the NBA stage by winning the three-point shooting contest.

Fast forward two MVP awards and three NBA titles later, and Curry was back on the big stage in Atlanta ahead of the 2021 NBA All-Star Game Sunday evening.

After scoring a resounding 31 points in the initial round, Curry needed to best the 27 Utah Jazz star guard Mike Conley put up in the finals. He did it. Just barely.

That last three-pointer for the walk-off win was something else. It was do-or-die time, and the greatest shooter the NBA has ever seen drained it with no problem.

We also have to give credit to Conley, a late addition to the All-Star Game, for making this a contest. Despite Conley's all-around brilliant play, no one would compare him to Curry from a shooting perspective. Alas, he made this rather interesting.

As for Curry, he joins only Larry Bird, Craig Hodges, Jeff Hornacek, Jason Kapono, Mark Price and Peja Stojaković as players who have won the three-point contest multiple times.
