Brooklyn Nets guard Malachi Smith signed a multi-year contract on Saturday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team for Smith, an undrafted player out of Gonzaga who competed on a pair of 10-day contracts before receiving a standard pact.
Smith, 26, has averaged 7.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 18.2 minutes per outing in 10 games off the bench with the Nets. He scored a career-high 18 points against the Sacramento Kings on March 22.
Smith spent his previous two seasons in the NBA G League with the Rip City Remix (2023-24), Wisconsin Herd (2024) and Memphis Hustle (2024-25).
