New Team Reportedly Interested In Cam Reddish
USA TODAY Sports

The NBA trading deadline is on February 9, so rumors around the league are starting to pick up.

One name that has been mentioned constantly over the last month has been New York Knicks forward Cam Reddish.

The former Duke star has completely fallen out of head coach Tom Thibodeau's rotation, and has not played in a game since December 3.

SNY's Ian Begley (on his show "The Putback") reports that a new team to show interest in Reddish is the Denver Nuggets

Via Begley: "I've heard that Denver had registered some interest in Cam Reddish recently, so you can add Denver to the name of teams that has had interest in Cam Reddish. I also think the Knicks had contact more recently with Detroit on a potential Reddish deal, so keep an eye there."

Reddish spent the first two and a half seasons of his career with the Atlanta Hawks (he was the tenth overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft) and was traded to the Knicks last season.

Through 20 games (this season), he has averages of 8.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest (while shooting 44.9% from the field).

Coming out of high school, the 23-year-old was ranked by ESPN as the third best player in the class of 2018.

He is still young enough that his potential could be reached in the right situation.

During Game 6 of the 2021 Eastern Conference Finals (while playing for the Hawks), Reddish had 21 points on 6/7 shooting from the three-point range.
