New York Knicks Icon Charles Oakley Goes Scorched Earth on Charles Barkley: ‘He’s a Clown’

New York Knicks legend Charles Oakley is not a fan of Charles Barkley. These two faced off on the basketball court multiple times during their respective NBA careers, and it is clear that their rivalry on the court has spilled over to retirement.

In a recent interview, Oakley got brutally honest about his feelings towards Barkley amid rumors of the latter’s impending retirement from broadcasting. Oakley did not hold back.

One thing you can say about Oakley is that he does not pull any punches. The 60-year-old was recently asked to share his thoughts on Barkley potentially calling time on his career as an NBA analyst. The former Knicks All-Star made it abundantly clear that he could not care any less about the situation:

“Who gives a f--- about Charles Barkley,” Oakley said. “He need to go to the gym and worry about his health. But his mouth is gonna get him in trouble. But I mean, he’s a clown, point blank. He look for attention. The stuff he said now, he would never say back in the day about no player or somebody would’ve hit him in his f------ fat mouth.”

They really did do things differently in the olden days.

Barkley is not the type to keep to himself either, so it would not be a surprise if the NBA on TNT anchor claps back at Oakley with his own brand of savagery.
