The New York Knicks have won three of their last four contests, which follows up a three-game skid. They are learning to play without Jalen Brunson.
The superstar guard is the squad's offensive engine, so it's been quite the change of pace to play without him for New York.
Evidently, their recent matchup showed they are capable, though, as Mikal Bridges led the team to a 116-95 win over the Miami Heat with a 28-point showing.
Karl-Anthony Towns added 23 points and seven rebounds as the Knicks had to pull themselves out of an early hole against the Heat.
While the club would certainly opt to have the superstar guard on the hardwood, it's encouraging that they are beginning to find some success without him.
Now with a 43-24 record and still being the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Knicks are set to take on the San Antonio Spurs on the road.
While New York is set to play two road games before returning to the Big Apple, they made a roster announcement.
Prior to the Knicks' battle in San Antonio, the team announced that they've assigned Pacome Dadiet to the Westchester Knicks -- their G League-affiliated squad.
"The New York Knicks Assign Pacôme Dadiet to the Westchester Knicks," Knicks PR announced.

The 19-year-old guard has appeared in 15 games during his rookie season, averaging just 6.5 minutes per game. The experience has been limited for the reigning No. 25 overall pick.
Dadiet heading to the G League while the Knicks are on the road allows him to get more game and practice experience, which could be crucial if he's going to develop into a rotational player for New York.
Tom Thibodeau seldom goes deep into his bench during games, and those who do hit the hardwood don't play all that much, meaning Dadiet is better off developing in the G League, especially when the team is on the road.
