New York Knicks Signing Former LA Clippers Player
USA TODAY Sports

The New York Knicks are making a new acquisition, and it's one that Clippers fans may be familiar with.

According to Shams Charania, the New York Knicks are signing center Moses Brown on a two-way NBA contract. Brown was previously the backup center for the LA Clippers, where he averaged 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes a game. The signing is a little ironic because the Knicks already have the Clippers' backup center from last season - Isaiah Hartenstein.

Moses Brown didn't play big minutes for the Clippers this season, but he definitely had his moments. Most notably, in a game against the Houston Rockets where he singlehandedly helped bring the Clippers a win. If the Knicks are looking for a big body that will hustle for every play, then Moses Brown is a perfect fit. It's hard for him to stay in front of certain opponents, but he fights for every single rebound possible. Moses needs to be used more as an x-factor, similar to how Boban Marjanovic gets used in the NBA.

The New York Knicks actually face off against the LA Clippers this weekend, this Saturday on March 11. It's unknown whether Brown will get minutes in the game, but it'll definitely be a nice reunion for Moses and his former teammates this season. He was remembered fondly among Clippers players.
