Kay Adams, host of the "Up & Adams Show", has been spotlighting NFL head coaches and general managers across the league. Among them, Washington Commanders general manager Adam Peters has emerged as one of football's brightest minds.

After engineering a stunning turnaround — taking a team from a 4-13 record to the NFC Championship Game in just one year — Peters has firmly established the Commanders as one of the NFL's elite.

Having rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels certainly helps, and he looks poised for Year 2 in the league.

Longtime Washington Commanders fan Kevin Durant is a big fan of Daniels got to attend practice, where the NBA superstar got in a couple throws of his own.

Peters was incredibly impressed with Durant, with no surprise to his incredible athleticism, but his ability to throw the football. He was able to throw 50-yard passes without warming up, stunning Peters and the Commanders.

Durant’s display of skill serves as a reminder of the magnetic pull of the NFL, America’s most popular sport, attracting elite athletes from all disciplines. For Durant, it was a chance to support his favorite team while giving football fans a glimpse of his unparalleled versatility.

As the NBA season winds down, Durant must now focus on basketball, with his Phoenix Suns fighting to secure a play-in tournament spot. Sitting at 11th place, just one win behind the Sacramento Kings, the Suns face an uphill climb.

Even as a lower seed, Durant and the Suns have the firepower to make serious noise in the playoffs, shaking up the competition in dramatic fashion.
