Nick Young gets ruthlessly clowned after putting curse on Mavericks

Young did not hold back as he attempted to hex the Timberwolves with his post on Twitter, shared with over 525,000 of his followers.

“Wolves in 7,” Young wrote. “I’m putting the base god curse on Dallas.”

Readers were in a combative mood wondering exactly what ‘Swaggy P’ was talking about as he unveiled his message.

“Nick, what is it about Luka that makes you feel so small and insecure?” one fan wrote in response.

“Luka is really 13 years younger than you and lives in your head rent free, hate to see it,” another fan added.

Still another reader was even more dismissive of Young’s prediction and mental state.

“This dude somehow has severe CTE and never played football,” they said.

Mavs vs. Wolves heads to Dallas 

The Timberwolves’ odds to win the series have plummeted with Dallas now a -600 favorite and the Wolves listed at +425 to win the whole shebang and head to the NBA Finals according to the MGM Sportsbook.

Prior to the series many pundits thought Anthony Edwards and the Wolves’ daunting frontline of Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert was too much for the Mavericks. Now, there appears to be a sea change in the way the series is currently being viewed.

For the Timberwolves to make Swaggy P aka Nick Young’s prediction come true, Edwards must regain his unofficial ‘Best Player in the World’ title, which appears to have been stolen from him by Luka Doncic lately. Edwards has scored 40 points in the first two games, a solid but unspectacular total.

Naz Reid was on fire from beyond the arc in Game Two, but the Mavericks had the answer for both him and Edwards. Game Three should be must-see TV, with Irving and Doncic both in search of further success in what is becoming a more exciting series by the hour.
