Nikola Jokic signs funny item for fan in Europe

Nikola Jokic’s summer victory tour has taken an unexpected twist.

Video went viral this week of a strange moment that the Denver Nuggets star Jokic had with a fan in Europe. The reigning Finals MVP Jokic was in Italy for a horse race in Naples and signed a No. 15 Nuggets jersey for a fan … a No. 15 Nuggets jersey belonging to Carmelo Anthony.

You can see the video, originally posted by B92 Sports on Instagram, here.

According to ClutchPoints, Jokic, who also wears No. 15, signed the jersey for the fan as a thank-you for buying him a beer.

Well, at least that fan can say that he has something that no one else on the planet does — a Carmelo jersey signed by The Joker. Even cooler is that it was an old-school light blue jersey (with yellow accents) that hasn’t been worn by the Nuggets in over a decade.

The two-time NBA MVP Jokic is the only No. 15 who matters in Denver right now, especially after leading the Nuggets to their first-ever title in franchise history.

But with Anthony recently announcing his retirement from the league, an Anthony vs. Jokic jersey debate was triggered.
