Nikola Jokic’s Numbers in Nuggets’ 10-Game Win Streak Are Unreal

Three-time MVP Nikola Jokic has been with the Denver Nuggets for well over a decade, yet the franchise had never recorded a 10-game winning streak during his tenure, until now. On Wednesday night, against the Memphis Grizzlies, Denver finally reached that milestone, with Jokic at the center of it all.

Jokic finished with 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists in just 31 minutes, marking his 34th triple-double of the season. He shot 5-of-8 from the field and continued his dominant campaign, leading the league in both rebounds and assists, as the Nuggets secured a 136–119 victory.

Denver’s current streak began after a 125–118 loss to Memphis in March, and Jokic has played in all 10 games since. His production during that stretch has been nothing short of historic.

According to Opta Stats, there have been over 1.4 million recorded 10-game spans in NBA history, including playoffs. In none of them has a player totaled more points, rebounds, and assists than Jokic has during the Nuggets’ current 10-game winning streak, with 252 points, 145 rebounds, and 127 assists.

To put it simply, Jokic is averaging 25.2 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 12.7 assists during the streak. These numbers are even more remarkable, considering Denver has been managing his minutes with the playoffs approaching, especially since he is producing a similar stat line over the full season: 27.8 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 10.9 assists per game.

Such production is extremely rare, and Jokic’s stretch stands alone in NBA history. He is now also on the verge of another unique milestone.

No player has ever finished a season leading the league in both rebounds and assists, whether in the same year or across separate seasons. Jokic is now just two games away from potentially achieving that feat, while also averaging nearly 28 points per game on 66.9% true shooting, the highest mark among players averaging at least 20 points.

In addition, he ranks among the most efficient offensive players in the league. Among 201 players with at least 200 drives, only Giannis Antetokounmpo has generated more efficient offense at 1.26 points per possession, compared to Jokic’s 1.23.

While Jokic has never prioritized individual accolades, he remains firmly in the race for a fourth MVP award, alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama. Though his defensive impact has dipped slightly by his standards, his offensive dominance continues to set him apart from the rest of the league.
