Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic has already made the most absurd triple-double history

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has already cemented his place in NBA history as one of the most uniquely dominant players ever.

The 6-foot-11 big man is just 28 years old and has won two NBA Most Valuable Player awards, but he's also made some extremely unique NBA history — by accomplishing an incredible feat three times more than any other player in history.

As StatMuse detailed, after posting yet another triple-double in Wednesday's victory over the Houston Rockets, Jokic has now posted three career 30-point triple-doubles in games where he had zero turnovers.

Per the stats site, not only has no one ever accomplished that three times, but no other player has done it more than once in the past 40 seasons.

It's an unbelievable stat and an incredible accomplishment by Jokic, who scored 32 points with 15 assists and 10 rebounds in the 134-124 victory over the Rockets. And as previously stated, he didn't turn the ball over a single time.

Jokic is quietly putting together the best season of his NBA career. Through 17 games, the 28-year-old is averaging a career-best 28.8 points per game with 13.4 rebounds (second-most in his career) and 8.9 assists.

He's shooting 56.8% from the field and is well on his way to being remembered as one of the league's most dominant big men in history.
