Game 5 of the NBA finals returns to Oklahoma City, as the Thunder and Pacers are tied up 2 a piece. OKC pulled out at the end of Game 4 to tie it up in Indiana, as they couldn’t pull off the comeback like previous games in this series. The Thunder now have the home advantage, but Indiana has shown signs of sticking close, and this could be another nail-biter tonight.

Captain

Chet Holmgren

Oklahoma City Thunder

VS.

Indiana Pacers

(2-2)

While SGA is the obvious front runner for captain, especially at home, Chet Holmgren has been coming on a heater shooting-wise with Isaiah Hartenstein back in the double big lineup. Holmgren at $13.2K on DraftKings could outscore Jalen Williams (39.3 and 38.5 fantasy points) and has an affordable cost at captain to fit other star players at utility.

Utility

Lou Dort

Oklahoma City Thunder

VS.

Indiana Pacers

(2-2)

Lou Dort at home is an automatic start, but even in Indiana for Games 3-4, he is coming off a solid performance shooting. At $6.9K, he is a good plug-in as a utility and consistent enough to play compared to even cheaper guys like Hartenstein, Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe, or Aaron Wiggins.

T.J. McConnell

Indiana Pacers

Oklahoma City Thunder

(2-2)

Although Bennedict Mathurin could bounce back after his horrible performance in the minutes he played in Game 4, T.J. McConnell is the one who I would bet would have the better game. Although he is a little more expensive, McConnell has had more consistent minutes and could have a massive game like Game 2 in OKC.

Utility

Pascal Siakam

Indiana Pacers

AT

Oklahoma City Thunder

(2-2)

In terms of consistency and lower price point, Pascal Siakam is still the better option over the hot-and-cold but more expensive Tyrese Haliburton. While he had a massive Game 3, the other matchups, Hali averages around 35 fantasy points while Siakam, closer to 40, after coming off a 50 and 40 fantasy point performances in Games 3-4.

Utility

Alex Caruso

Oklahoma City Thunder

VS.

Indiana Pacers

(2-2)

Alex Caruso had his second 30 fantasy point game for the series, as he is priced up at $10.2K as a captain. However, as a utility, he is worth a start as a consistent scoring option with increased minutes. Caruso, along with Dort, have been the guys to step up outside the big three in OKC.

Fade

Obi Toppin

Indiana Pacers

AT

Oklahoma City Thunder

(2-2)

While Obi Toppin has been on a heater for Indiana, his price at $9K at captain is not worth it compared to players mentioned, like Caruso at a minimal difference. I still think Myles Turner will get his chance, as Toppin is minutes dependent early in games to be worth to start. It is also going opposite of the field, as he has been inconsistent in the past for the Pacers.
