Pacers dominate Knicks in 121-89 Game 4 victory, even series at 2-2

The Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 121-89 on Sunday, May 12, to take Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals and even the series at 2-2.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers to victory, scoring 20 points, including four three-point baskets, and captured six rebounds and five assists. Pacers’ guard TJ McConnell was the second-highest scorer, recording 15 points and dishing out ten assists to become the first Pacer in franchise history to record 15 points and ten rebounds in a playoff game. Indiana forward Aaron Nesmith grabbed 12 rebounds, and forwards Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin scored 14 points to help the Pacers capture their 32-point victory.

New York’s starters struggled from the field offensively, with guard Jalen Brunson the only starting Knick to record double figures scoring, finishing the game with 18 points. The rest of the Knicks starting five combined for 21 of the Knicks 89 points, leaving the New York bench to pick up the slack. Knicks guard Alan Burks led New York in scoring from the bench, finishing the contest with 20 points, and his counterpart in the backcourt, Miles McBride, was the final Knick to record double-digit scoring with 16 points, including three made three-point baskets.

New York is set to host Game 5 on Tuesday, May 14, in Madison Square Garden. The Knicks look to capture a win at home to extend their lead to 3-2, while the Pacers look to steal a game on the road to win their third straight game.
