The Indiana Pacers once again shocked everyone by securing a 111-110 victory in Game 1. What’s surprising is the fact that the Pacers led for just 0.3 seconds in Game 1.

The Oklahoma City Thunder were showing the entire world how they won a league-best 68 games this season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was having himself a game, proving to be the true MVP, as all looked doomed for Indiana.

The Thunder led for the entire game and by as much as 15 at one point. OKC’s crowd was electric and they knew they were watching something special—or so they believed.

Most were marking it down as OKC taking a 1-0 lead—then the magic of the Pacers returned.

Indiana went on a 15-4 run at the beginning of the fourth quarter, getting themselves back into the game. Then, the Pacers finished the game strong on a 12-2 run.

The final bucket for the Pacers was Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winning jumper with 0.3 seconds remaining. The Pacers’ first lead of the game was all they needed to secure a 1-0 series lead.

The Thunder will now have to regroup for Game 2 and try to hold off another magical Pacers’ run.
