The first half of Game 4 between the Indiana Pacers and the Cleveland Cavaliers has been an interesting one to say the least.

As the Pacers are hosting the Cavs in the matchup and it hasn't been very competitive with a 80-39 score heading into the break.

It was a dominant half by the Pacers with Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam leading the way in points.

With this being said, there were multiple records that were broken in the first 24 minutes of Game 4.

It was one of the largest halftime deficits in NBA playoff history and the 80 points scored by the Pacers was the most they have ever had in a half in franchise history.

Indiana Pacers break record for most assists in a half in play-by-play era.

While Indiana will look to finish out the game with a win and secure a 3-1 series lead heading back to Cleveland for Game 5, this doesn't stray away from the historic performance that they displayed in the first two quarters.

On top of all of these milestones being achieved, they also broke the record for the most assists in any half of a playoff game in the play-by-play era, according to NBA on ESPN.

This Pacers team is inching closer to a return to the Eastern Conference Finals – the same round where they were eliminated by the Boston Celtics last year.

Now healthier and more experienced, Indiana is chasing its first NBA Finals appearance in 25 years.

If they are able to close out the series in the coming week, they will face the winner of the series between the New York Knicks and the Celtics.
