The Indiana Pacers, despite rumors swirling, decided to mostly hold pat at the 2025 NBA trade deadline. Aside from trading injured center James Wiseman and cash to the Toronto Raptors, the Pacers didn't make a single move in the final days before the deadline.
Indiana was, to a degree, expected to trade center Myles Turner to the Los Angeles Lakers. However, when the Lakers added Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets, it was all but guaranteed that Turner would stay put.
Turner is in his tenth NBA season, all of which have been played in Indiana. Every season, his name comes up in trade rumors, but every year, he remains a Pacer.
This season, he is averaging 15.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks while shooting a career-best 40.2 percent from 3-point range. Despite his upcoming free agency, it would appear that the Pacers want to keep him around long-term, and he shared a meme online after another deadline came and went.

Turner, clearly, knows that his name has come up in rumors, but his ability to joke about it suggests that ownership and the Pacers' front office have explained to him that there is no interest in them parting ways with him.
After the Dallas Mavericks stabbed Luka Doncic and their fans in the back by trading him to the Lakers, the loyalty the Pacers and Turner have shown one another is admirable, and Indiana is gearing up for another postseason run, currently holding the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
