The Indiana Pacers may be preparing to blow up their roster, but for now, their week has been put on a temporary hold.
The Pacers say they’ve canceled practice today “out of an abundance of caution” due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

Indiana is currently on a six-game homestand that began with a 114-111 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 1. The Pacers then lost to the Miami Heat last Friday, defeated the Washington Wizards on Monday and dropped the New York Knicks on Wednesday.
The team is scheduled to take on the Dallas Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday and then wrap up their home slate at 7:00 p.m. ET on Monday against the Golden State Warriors.
Shortly after Bontemps reported the news about the Pacers, he tweeted that the Toronto Raptors were in the same boat.
Now the Raptors have also canceled their practice, like the Pacers did earlier, out of an “abundance of caution” due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

Toronto has two games left on their current seven-game homestand. The Raptors played the Wizards on Sunday -- one day before Indiana and Washington squared off.
The Raptors are slated to play the Knicks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
