The Cleveland Cavaliers appeared to have overcome injuries to secure a big win in Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers. However, that hope came to an abrupt end when Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton hit a three-pointer at the buzzer, giving Indiana a 120-119 victory.

Cleveland finds itself in a tough spot, trailing 0-2 in the series. Spirits were high coming into the matchup after the Cavaliers swept the Miami Heat, but now the team has its back against the wall, with injuries to several key players.

Haliburton’s game-winner was a heartbreaker for the Cavs. Earlier in the game, fans chanted “overrated” at the Pacers star—something that seemed regrettable in hindsight. After the game, Haliburton addressed the situation:

“I didn’t know we had beef—good for them. That came out of nowhere. I think now that that label is there, it’s going to be like that every time we play somebody on the road,” Haliburton said, referring to a poll that labeled him the most overrated player in the NBA. “It’ll probably follow me until the next poll comes out. We’ll see if I’m No. 1 again. I control what I can and, yeah—overrate that.”

Haliburton finished with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, but none were bigger than his final three, which came off an offensive rebound. The Pacers, who trailed by 14 heading into the fourth quarter, outscored Cleveland 36-21 in the final frame to steal their second straight road win.

As the No. 4 seed, Indiana might be the hottest team in the NBA playoffs right now. Cleveland, down 0-2, now heads to Indiana for two must-win road games, starting Friday evening.
