Former NBA guard Patrick Beverley is facing serious allegations following his arrest in Texas, as police documents obtained by TMZ Sports outline disturbing claims involving a physical altercation with his sister earlier this month.

According to the probable-cause affidavit, the incident took place late on Nov. 14 after Beverley’s sister left the house without permission to meet her boyfriend, Aiden Hilderbrand, at a nearby park.

When she returned, her mother instructed her to call Hilderbrand to pick her up — and contacted Beverley to come to the home.

Per the report, Beverley confronted his sister upon arrival, grabbed her by the neck with both hands and lifted her off the ground. She told police she felt she was losing oxygen for 20 to 30 seconds before Beverley allegedly slammed her into walls while dragging her from the bedroom.

She also alleges Beverley pinned her to a sofa and punched her in the left eye with a closed fist, and that he later warned he would be “the family relative to kill her,” per the affidavit.

Officers reported seeing marks on her neck and petechiae in her eyes consistent with strangulation.

Hilderbrand, who had been told to leave during the confrontation, later called 911, police say. Beverley was arrested and booked on a felony assault charge in Fort Bend County.

The 36-year-old briefly addressed the allegations on social media, writing, “Please don’t believe everything you see on the internet. Hope all is well Luv.”

Beverley last appeared in the NBA during the 2023-24 season.
