Paul George made sure there was no overtime today against the Golden State Warriors - it's not just a saying for a commercial. After being down 22 points, the LA Clippers completed a heroic comeback against the Warriors.
After the game, Paul George was asked about the moment, and he gave a very confident answer.
"We wanted to go without a timeout, catch the defense scrambling," George said. "I felt confident with the ball in my hand. It was just get to my spot... no fear in being in that moment."
The shot was a moment of huge redemption for Paul George. Through the majority of the game, he played poor defense and even committed a clear path foul that put the Warriors up four points in the final minutes. Somehow, the Clippers chipped away, cut it two points within three seconds, got the stop, and then George made the game-winning three without hesitation.
