Paul George reveals Clippers enjoyment despite recent struggles

The Los Angeles Clippers have lost six of their last seven games and have just four wins in their first 11 outings this season. The team's losing streak coincided with the arrival of James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers and only ended when the Clippers beat the Houston Rockets on Friday.

However, according to Paul George, who was speaking on a recent episode of "Podcast P," the Clippers roster is enjoying the process of trying to figure things out.

“The beauty in this team is we are enjoying this process," George said. "The reason we are not boiling over and not shaking the locker room up (is because) we honestly enjoy trying to figure this out ... Obviously (we're) frustrated, losing six games with the talent and the guys we have in the locker room,” George said. “As much as we’re positive and optimistic and truly believe that it will work, no one likes going out there competing and coming up with a loss.”

Russell Westbrook has taken a big step toward helping provide his team with a more balanced rotation. The veteran guard has requested to come off the bench for the Clippers, and since then, they have looked like a more cohesive unit.

With Westbrook operating as a sixth man, both he and Harden can spend time as the primary ball-handler and play to their strengths.

Still, there is more work to be done if the Clippers are serious about becoming champions this season. They will need to improve their consistency on both sides of the court while also figuring out how to incorporate their role players into offensive actions. Otherwise, the Clippers will become too predictable and will be easy to shut down on a possession-to-possession basis.

Nevertheless, it's becoming evident that the Clippers star players are happy to be sharing the court together. If they can put their egos aside, and work for the good of the team, a turnaround in fortunes won't be too far away.
