Paul George's Status vs. Detroit Pistons Revealed
USA TODAY Sports

After missing Wednesday night's game against the Washington Wizards due to groin soreness, LA Clippers star Paul George is set to make his return on Friday night against the Detroit Pistons. The Clippers have released their injury report for this game, and George is not listed, meaning he is available to play.

It is worth mentioning that George was initially not listed on the injury report for Wednesday night's game against the Wizards before being downgraded to questionable and ultimately ruled out. That said, this always seemed like a one game injury absence for George, as he had been playing through the groin soreness. The team gave him a day off in Washington, and he is now good to go.

George has been very durable for the Clippers this season, having missed just three games all year. The same goes for his All-Star teammate Kawhi Leonard, who has missed just four games this season. Both George and Leonard were named to the All-Star team on Thursday, which is the 9th selection for George, and 6th selection for Leonard. It was a much deserved honor for LA’s two best players, who have led the Clippers to one of the best records in basketball.

This game against the Pistons is one the Clippers cannot expect to win just based off Detroit's record, as they will have to approach it with the right mindset.
