Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball reportedly drawing interest from several teams

Lonzo Ball continues to be one of the hottest names on the trade market, and the New Orleans Pelicans guard could very well be traded before Thursday's deadline.

According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the Los Angeles Clippers, Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls are interested in acquiring Ball.

The Bulls have reportedly offered Tomas Satoransky and second-round picks, but New Orleans wants either a good first-round pick or a young player in exchange for its top point guard.

The Pelicans' discussions with the Hawks reportedly involve Cam Reddish, who played with Zion Williamson at Duke. It's unclear what the Clippers are offering the Pels, but Marc Stein of the New York Times reports L.A. would almost certainly have to go through a three-team trade to acquire Ball.

This news comes after LaVar Ball said in an interview with Mason & Ireland of ESPN LA 710 that he hopes his son gets traded out of New Orleans.

Ball will become a free agent at the end of the season, and it's unlikely he re-signs with the Pelicans. He's reportedly keen on the possibility of joining the New York Knicks.

The 23-year-old is in the midst of his best season in the NBA, averaging a career-high 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game while shooting 42.5% from the field and 38.5% from deep.
