Devin Booker has spent his entire NBA career with the Phoenix Suns and their partnership is expected to continue.

According to NBA insider Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, Booker is expected to sign a two-year, $150 million extension with the Suns, who missed the playoffs last season despite having Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal.

Phoenix traded Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and six draft picks. Mike Budenholzer was fired as head coach after just one season and replaced by Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Jordan Ott.

One of the best scorers in the NBA, Booker played in 75 games last season for the Suns. He averaged 25.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists while shooting 46.1% from the field, 33.2% from beyond the arc and 89.4% from the free-throw line.

A four-time All-Star, Booker has scored the most points in Phoenix franchise history. He has career averages of 24.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists.

The Suns lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals. They haven’t had much playoff success since then.

Phoenix lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the second round of the 2022 playoffs, the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 2023 playoffs and the first round of the 2024 playoffs.

Booker was the 13th overall pick in the 2015 draft. He scored 70 points against the Boston Celtics in Boston during the 2016-17 season.
