Phoenix Suns trend toward full strength in injury report ahead of Brooklyn Nets matchup

The team listed guard Jalen Green and two-way guard Jamaree Bouyea as questionable ahead of the matchup.

Green, who has appeared in just one game in a Phoenix uniform, has been dealing with a lingering right hamstring injury. Bouyea, meanwhile, has missed several recent games after sustaining a concussion earlier this month.

With neither player ruled out, their availability could influence the Suns’ rotation, marking one of the few times this season the team could be close to full strength.

Green’s availability looms largest. His speed and offensive production were immediately evident in his lone appearance. In 23 minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers on Nov. 6, Green scored 29 points to go along with three rebounds and three assists. Adding another productive scorer would provide Phoenix with a significant boost alongside established players such as Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks.

The Suns have also been cautious with Green’s recovery, prioritizing long-term durability over rushing him back into action. That approach reflects the organization’s broader focus on sustainability rather than short-term results.

“I’m happy for him,” Booker told Arizona Central’s Duane Rankin. “I’m excited for him. Nobody wants to miss time. He’s been healthy the majority of his career, so I know he’s itching to get out there.”

Bouyea has been a steady presence off the bench, averaging 7.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in roughly 14.7 minutes per game. While his minutes are limited, his energy and production have given the Suns valuable breathing room in tight contests.

Phoenix has drawn increasing attention in the NBA, most notably for the way its roster has come together. At 25–17, the Suns are trending toward legitimate playoff contention.

Getting two key pieces back would add depth and flexibility as Phoenix looks to continue building momentum through the first half of the season.
