The Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors are considered by Dan Favale of Bleacher Report as teams that could make a surprise trade push for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo is open-minded about leaving the Bucks this offseason for the first time in his career.

A two-time MVP, Antetokounmpo doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract. If “The Greek Freak” requests a trade, Milwaukee can send him anywhere.

The Bucks won the 2021 championship against the Phoenix Suns in six games, with Antetokounmpo winning the Finals MVP Award. However, Milwaukee has won just one postseason series since then.

Antetokounmpo has career averages of 23.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks. He signed a three-year, $175 million extension with the Bucks in October 2023.

Milwaukee lost to the Indiana Pacers in the first round of this year’s playoffs in five games. Damian Lillard could miss all of next season recovering from his left Achilles tendon tear, which is why many believe Antetokounmpo should request a trade from the Bucks.

A future Hall of Famer, Antetokounmpo averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks this season. He made the All-NBA First Team.

The Pistons lost to the New York Knicks in the first round of this year’s playoffs in six games, the Grizzlies were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round and the Sixers, Trail Blazers and Raptors missed the postseason.
