The Detroit Pistons likely won't be complacent after such a strong turnaround from a season ago.
They improved by 30 wins and made the NBA Playoffs as the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference after finishing in last place the season prior.
Unfortunately, the Pistons fell to the New York Knicks 4-2 despite holding late leads in many of the games.
It's unlikely the Pistons look at their roster and decide to run it back with the current team. Tobias Harris was reliable and served as a veteran on an otherwise young Pistons team.
Harris could prove to be a valuable asset in a future trade.
Matt George, the host of the "Locked in Kings" podcast, believes the Pistons could trade Harris to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for DeMar DeRozan.
"Harris is an expiring contract that checks 2 short-term boxes for the Kings," wrote George. "They remain competitive for this upcoming season, while allowing Keegan Murray to move [to] the starting 3 spot."

The move would also work out well for the Pistons.
The Pistons got to see DeRozan up close during his years with the Chicago Bulls, so they would know perhaps better than anyone what they're getting and how to use him.
While they would take a bit of a hit on defense, DeRozan is still one of those players who can go get you a bucket himself when the offense isn't flowing.
If this is a trade the Pistons are willing to make, they could prove to be even more dangerous next season.
