The Detroit Pistons made it to the playoffs last season only to lose to Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks in a hard fought series.
Wing Tobias Harris stabilized Detroit's forward rotation with strong play last season, averaging 13.7 points and 5.9 rebounds during his second tour of duty in Motown.
The former Tennessee Volunteers star and 2011 first round pick is known not just for his on-court talents but also for his off-court exploits with former teammate Boban Marjanovic, the 7-foot-4 former NBA center and part-time Hollywood actor.
Marjanovic played more games with Harris than anyone else during his time in the NBA, cementing the two fan favorites' friendship, and leading to a heartfelt reunion of sorts Wednesday on ESPN.
Harris and Marjanovic played a grand total of 142 games together across three NBA franchises and became one of the league's most iconic duos for their fun-loving personas off the court.
Known as 'Bobi and Tobi,' their friendship made waves and helped fans to see a lighter side of a talented hoops duo.
The enthusiasm was infectious as Marjanovic became visibly excited, shouting "TOOOBBBIIII!" as Harris joined Wednesday's episode of NBA Today.
"The bromance is back baby. The bromance is back!" Harris exclaimed in the segment.
Marjanovic said he and his former teammate "looked better on the court" while Harris commented on his unique dance moves.
"The Tobi and Bobi Show just exploded, and then, you know, the life of the NBA, we just got traded team-to-team, but it always just brought together our friendship," Harris continued.

The Pistons are likely to start the season without high scoring, sharp shooting guard Malik Beasley as the NBA continues its investigation into alleged gambling improprieties, which could directly affect the 33-year-old Harris going into the season.
Harris will likely need to pick up some of the scoring load without Beasley, although the Pistons did add guard Caris Levert and guard/forward Duncan Robinson to the mix in hopes of replacing him.
Harris' 13.7 points per game average was his lowest since 2015-2016 with the Orlando Magic, but his shooting percentage remained an asset as he made shots at a 47.7% clip.
Harris won't have 'Bobi' on his team this season, but the Pistons have a talented squad capable of making a deep playoff run.
The NBA will never forget the friendship of 'Bobi and Tobi,' and it's safe to assume that the two men involved never will, either.
