In a key Saturday afternoon matchup in the ACC, the Pitt Panthers will be without forward Jorge Diaz Graham, Pitt announced.

It was further reported by Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Diaz Graham is expected to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

Diaz Graham averages 10.4 minutes off the bench and scores 3.5 points per game.

Prior to the season, Diaz Graham suffered from a foot injury and has since reaggravated it throughout the season, per Hiles.

The 6-foot-11 sophomore has seen limited time as of late, along with not appearing in the rotation in the last two games.

Diaz Graham was an important piece off the bench for the Panthers’ NCAA Tournament run last season where he averaged 2.9 points per game and 2.2 rebounds.

Without Jorge Diaz Graham, the Panthers will be limited to Federiko Federiko and his twin brother Guillermo Diaz Graham at the five.

The Panthers were already hit with an injury blow to its front court  to start the season with freshman Papa Amadou Kante injuring his knee over the summer.

With the Panthers (12-7, 3-5) losing Diaz Graham, they will have to move forward as they look to make it three wins in a row in Coral Gables, Fla. against the Miami Hurricanes (13-6, 4-4).
