Portland Trail Blazers Reportedly Sign Former NBA 1st Round Pick
USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Knox is coming off a year where he played for the Detroit Pistons and Portland Trail Blazers.

The former Kentucky star was traded during the middle of the season (from Detroit to Portland).

He finished the year with averages of 6.6 points and 2.8 assists per contest while shooting 45.8% from the field and 34.9% from the three-point range in 63 regular season games.

This summer, he became a free agent, and on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that he would re-sign with Portland.

Via Charania: "Free agent forward Kevin Knox is signing a one-year deal to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Knox, the No. 9 pick in the 2018 Draft, averaged 8.9 points and 17.1 minutes in 21 games for Portland last season."
