Potential Top-2 Pick Brandon Miller Entering NBA Draft
Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Alabama small forward Brandon Miller will forego his remaining eligibility to enter the 2023 NBA Draft, he told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Miller, 20, is 6-foot-9 and was named SEC Player of the Year. He is viewed as the potential No. 2 overall pick, behind only French center Victor Wembanyama. G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson is also considered a possible No. 2 pick.

Miller averaged 18.8 points and 8.2 rebounds in leading the Crimson Tide to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, but struggled with a groin strain during the postseason. Alabama was eliminated by San Diego State in the Sweet 16.

Wojnarowski referred to Miller as a “dynamic wing player” with “incredible scoring ability,” noting Miller’s 41-point outburst vs. South Carolina in February.

Miller thanked “God, my family, my fans and all the coaches at the University of Alabama,” via Wojnarowski.

Hoops Wire has Miller going No. 3 overall to the Spurs in our first mock draft.
