The Raptors 905 have made changes to their leadership.
Scott Brown Jr. has been named general manager, and Noah Lewis will serve as head coach, the organization announced on Monday.
Brown Jr., 30, has been the assistant GM of the 905 since 2025, while Lewis has been a player development coach and video coordinator with the Toronto Raptors since 2023. Former GM Luke Winn will reportedly remain with the NBA Raptors front office in his role as Director of Prospect Strategy, per Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy.
“Scott and Noah have grown within our system and earned the trust and respect of everyone around them,” Raptors general manager and executive vice-president Bobby Webster said in a team release. “They’re ambitious, they’re dynamic, and we’re excited to see them build on 905’s success while shaping its next chapter.”
Lewis, 32, replaces Drew Jones, who served as 905 coach for the previous two seasons. It is currently unclear if Jones will remain in the Raptors organization; however, he did previously serve as an assistant on Darko Rajaković’s staff during his first season as Raptors head coach in 2023-24.
Jones finished his tenure as 905 head coach with a 55-45 record, including a standout 37-13 record this past season after going 18-32 in his first campaign. This included a record-setting 16-0 start and a perfect 14-0 in the G League’s Tip-Off Tournament portion of the schedule before the Winter Showcase.
Lewis joined the Raptors as a Wayne and Theresa Embry Fellow for the 2021-22 season. He then served as an assistant coach with the 905 during the 2022-23 season before returning to the Raptors in 2023.
Brown Jr. first joined Raptors 905 in 2023 as manager of basketball operations.
“The Toronto Raptors and Raptors 905 operate with a shared vision, a shared culture and a shared commitment to development,” Darko Rajaković said. “Scott and Noah have been instrumental in strengthening that connection. They understand who we are as an organization, the standards we set and the environment we want to create for our players. I’m excited to see them step into these roles and continue building a place where players and staff can grow, compete and reach their full potential.”
