Raptors add Scottie Barnes, Precious Achiuwa to growing list of players in COVID-19 protocols

The Toronto Raptors are now reportedly in the midst of a COVID-19 outbreak.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski broke down the situation on Tuesday afternoon. Apparently, replacement players were "rushing to [the] scene" at the airport before the team took off for Chicago.

The Raptors are boarding a flight for Chicago now, and so far, Wednesday's game with the Bulls has yet to be postponed. Toronto has seven players in protocols now.

The Raptors charter is taxiing on runway to take flight to Chicago, source tells ESPN. They have 7 players in protocols, injuries and appears 6 regular players -- plus replacements rushing to scene -- available to play the Bulls on Wednesday.

Lewenberg reported Tuesday morning that the team elected not to have a practice, with the players instead going in for individual workouts. Toronto is scheduled to play against the Chicago Bulls at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
