Raptors' Chris Boucher torches his former team in fourth quarter

Boucher scored 17 of his 18 points in the final quarter as the Toronto Raptors stunned the Warriors, 104-101. Two days after his 32nd birthday, Boucher shot 7-for-8 and made three three-pointers, grabbing five rebounds in the quarter. 

That was better than the Warriors' top fourth-quarter scorers — Stephen Curry, Lindy Waters and fellow Canadian Andrew Wiggins — combined.

After the game, Curry was complimentary to his former teammate, saying he always "knew he could shoot," but added that he "hated the way he played tonight."

Going into the final year of his contract, Boucher is having a scoring resurgence, upping his production to 10.7 points. That might be a result of the Raptors showcasing Boucher for a possible trade, but he's also delivering in his minutes. 

He's averaging 21.6 points per 36 minutes, the second-best mark on the team, along with 8.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks.

A team could certainly use a shooting big like Boucher. Including a team like the Warriors, who need more spacing with non-shooters Draymond Green, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevon Looney occupying most of their frontcourt minutes. 

Boucher got his team a win, and he may have passed an audition for his next one.
