Raptors eyeing Scottie Barnes with No. 4 pick in 2021 NBA Draft?

The Toronto Raptors could reportedly make a surprise selection with the No. 4 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

According to The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor, Gonazaga's Jalen Suggs "isn't a lock" at fourth overall, and the Raptors have serious interest in Florida State forward Scottie Barnes.

Despite the legitimate interest in Barnes, O'Connor still has the Raptors selecting Suggs in his latest mock draft.

Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green and Evan Mobley are expected to be the top three picks in this year's draft. Suggs was widely expected to be the fourth player off the board, but the Raptors are obviously exploring other options.

Barnes averaged 10.3 points, four rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while shooting 50.3% from the field in his first season with the Seminoles.

The Raptors have also reportedly made an offer for the Cleveland Cavaliers No. 3 pick, according to O'Connor, meaning they might be more interested in Cunningham, Mobley or Green.

However, the Cavs could end up staying put, as it would be hard for the club to pass on drafting someone like Mobley.

At this point, the top three picks appear to be locked. We'll just have to wait and see what the Raptors do with the fourth overall pick.
